Udayana University Holds a Footsteps of Prabu Udayana, Routinely Carried Out Before the Anniversary

Gianyar - Udayana University (Unud) carried out a retracing of Prabu Udayana's journey in order to welcome the 62nd Anniversary on Friday (23/08/2024). The annual Napak Tilas implementation is carried out by praying at several temples in the Gianyar Regency area, starting with Gunung Kawi Temple, Tirta Mengening Temple, Tirta Empul Temple and finally at Durghakutri Temple.

The 62nd Anniversary Walkthrough was attended by the Rector, the Vice Rectors, then the Faculty and Postgraduate Leaders along with representatives of Lecturers and staff, Institutional Leaders, work unit leaders, Unud Dharma Wanita Persatuan and the Anniversary committee. This Prabu Udayana Retreat aims to ask for the safety and smooth running of every activity carried out in commemoration of the Anniversary, which will culminate on September 29 2024.

Chair of the 62nd Anniversary Committee of Unud Dr. Ketut Adi Atmika said that the anniversary event, Napak Tilas, was attended by around 125 participants from various elements, including leaders, staff and lecturers. He expressed his appreciation to the leaders and community members who were present and involved in this Napak Tilas activity so that the activity could run smoothly.

Meanwhile, the Rector of Unud, Prof. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana on this occasion said that through this activity we are now following in the footsteps of Prabu Udayana's journey, hopefully with this spiritual journey we at Udayana University will also be more enthusiastic about advancing our university, our institution so that what we aspire to can be achieved. For its implementation this year, of course we also hope that the Rector's election will run smoothly, safely and also that the PTN-BH process can run well so that we can exist at the national and global levels.
