Udayana University Holds International Class Workshop and Socialization of Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 53 of 2023

The Rector of Udayana University (Unud) officially opened the International Class Management Workshop and Socialization of the Application of Curriculum, Learning Materials, Study Period, and/or Assessment of Learning Results in accordance with the provisions in Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 53 of 2023, on Friday (16/8/2024) at at Bali Dynasti Resort, Kuta.

Agoes Hadi Birawan as Chair of the Workshop in his report said that there were two agendas for this workshop, namely the implementation of international classes and the socialization of the implementation of Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 53 of 2024. The aim of this workshop was to exchange information regarding student admissions and class management. internationally with leading universities that are well established in international class management and implementation as well as tips during the transition period to meet the criteria for the provisions of Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 53 in 2023.

Rector of Udayana University, Prof. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana, in opening the event, said that the implementation of this workshop was very important because although in several faculties there were already pioneers of international classes, officially international classes were not yet running. The Rector hopes that this semester, international classes can officially start. Besides that, Unud has prepared a representative room for international classes.

It is hoped that the workshop participants will be able to participate optimally and provide appropriate and clear knowledge regarding the acceptance and application of international classes and can encourage understanding of the regulations of the Minister of Education and Culture for improving the quality of higher education at Udayana University.

This workshop presented 2 resource persons from agencies outside Unud, namely from Airlangga University, Dr. Achmad Solihin, SE., M.Si who delivered material on Mechanisms and Regulations for International Class New Student Admissions at Airlangga University, as well as speakers from Gadjah Mada University who attended online, Prof. Dr. Gandes Rento Rahayu, M.Med, Ed., Ph.D who delivered information about the Mechanisms and Regulations for International Class New Student Admissions at Gadjah Mada University.

The socialization of Permendikbudristek Number 53 of 2023 was delivered by the Chair of LP3M Udayana University, Prof. Nengah Sujaya, and a presentation related to Course Coding and the Equivalence Process delivered by the UP3D Coordinator of Udayana University.
