Rector of Udayana University for the 1990-1997 period, Prof. Dr. Nyoman Sutawan, M.Sc Passes away

Prof. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana, Rector of Udayana University (Unud) accompanied by Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information, Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika and his wife visited his residence in Penarukan Singaraja Village on Saturday (10/8/2024). 

According to the deceased's wife, he died at their residence in Denpasar at around 11 am on Wednesday (7/8/2024) at the age of 85 due to complications he suffered which included Parkinson's, dementia, diabetes and a lung infection that led to the heart.

Previously, the body of Prof. Sutawan was entrusted to RSUP Prof. I.G.N.G Ngoerah then on Friday (9/8/2024l) departed for Singaraja for the Ngaben Procession to be held on Wednesday (14/8/2024) in the Setra Panarukan area, Singaraja.
