Udayana University Collaborates with Wira Husada Yogyakarta College of Health Sciences
Jimbaran - Udayana University (Unud) has collaborated with the Wira Husada Yogyakarta College of Health Sciences (STIKES), which was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by the Rector of Unud with the Chair of STIKES Wira Husada at the Bahasa Room of the Rectorate Building, Jimbaran Campus, Wednesday (7/8/2024).
The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding was coupled with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Unud and the Chair of STIKES Wira Husada. Present at the signing ceremony were the Rector of Udayana University, Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Coordinator of the Public Health Science Study Program, as well as the KSHUM Coordinator and Sub-Coordinator of Domestic Cooperation.
Rector of Unud Prof. Ngakan Suardana in his speech said that Udayana University was very open to collaborating with various institutions, both state, private and government institutions. We cannot stand alone and need collaboration with various parties to improve the competence of both human resources and institutions. So that we can rise together and be the best.
One of the collaborations that will be established with STIKES is through the Faculty of Medicine, namely the Public Health Sciences Study Program. Apart from that, there are also other study programs at Unud that are relevant to collaborate with in supporting IKU achievements at the university. Meanwhile, opportunities for collaboration can be established through MBKM, joint research and other fields.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of STIKES Wira Husada, in his speech, Dr. Dra. Ning Ristiswati, M.Kes expressed her gratitude for being accepted to collaborate. As a newly developing private institution, the party wants to receive guidance from Unud, especially in the Public Health Study Program which happens to have a vision and excellence for tourism. They hope to gain a lot of knowledge from the Unud Public Health Science Study Program. Collaboration between the parties can also be followed up with joint workshops in online form and at STIKES there is also MBKM, so that it can increase the capacity of each institution.
After the signing of the MoU and PKS, it was continued with discussions by both parties regarding cooperation opportunities that could be carried out as a follow-up and form of implementation of the signed MoU and PKS.
