LP3M Udayana University Holds Workshop on Preparing Asia University Rankings (AUR) Documents
Udayana University (Unud) through the Development, Learning and Quality Assurance Institute (LP3M) held a Workshop on Preparing Asia University Rankings (AUR) Documents: Strategy and Data Management to Support QS AUR Rankings, Monday (8/7/2024) at the Udayana University Postgraduate Building.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Rai Maya Temaja, who on this occasion represented the Rector in his speech, said that in an effort to increase the visibility and recognition of Udayana University, one of the steps taken was to take part in international rankings. This is in line with Udayana University which is currently in the process of transforming into a Legal Entity State University (PTNBH), where PTNBH Unud's vision is to become a superior, independent, cultural and globally competitive university.
The Vice Rector advised workshop participants to make good use of this opportunity and gain as much knowledge as possible, not only understanding AUN criteria but also in relation to data handling in general.
Made Diah Lestari, S.Psi., M.Psi., Ph.D, as chairman of the activity implementation committee in his report said that Udayana University has been included in the QS AUR ranking since 2016. In 2024, Unud will be ranked #601-550 QS AUR and 1401+ QS WUR. The very tight competition between universities in Asia encourages Unud to maximize its potential in order to increase its QS AUR ranking. Carrying out this workshop is very important to obtain good practices and strategies to improve the achievement of each QS AUR criterion/indicator from experienced sources, so that it can increase the QS AUR ranking for Udayana University.
This workshop presented speakers from Airlangga University, Dian Ekowati, SE., M.Si., M.AppCom(OrgCh)., Ph.D. as Head of the UNAIR Planning and Development Agency, who on this occasion delivered material on "Data Strategy and Management for QS AUR Ranking" moderated by Ni Nengah Dwi Fatmawati, Ph.D (Member of the Center for Internationalization (PI) - Chair of the IAB LP3M-Unud Secretariat).
Workshop participants who attended included Deans, Postgraduate Directors, Vice Deans for Academic and Planning Affairs, Vice Directors for Academic and Student Affairs, Head of KUI, Head of USDI, Heads of UPIKS, LP3M Central Coordinator and LP3M International Center Team.
