Udayana University Collaborates with Kalimantan Islamic University Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari

Udayana University (Unud) received a visit from the Kalimantan Islamic University Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari (Uniska) Banjarmasin on Monday (29/7/2024). The delegation from Uniska consisting of Foundation Management, Rector, Vice Rectors, Heads of Institutions, Deans and Postgraduate Directors was received directly by the Rector of Udayana University, Prof. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana, accompanied by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information, Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika, in the Bangsa Room, Udayana University Rectorate Building, Jimbaran.

This visit in the context of benchmarking also strengthens the cooperative relationship between both parties through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Udayana University and Uniska which was signed directly by each Rector, as well as the signing of a Cooperation Agreement with the Uniska Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Unud. 

The Rector of Udayana University in his speech said that Unud welcomed the existing collaboration and hoped that in the future there would be many mutually beneficial activities for both parties as a follow-up to the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding this time. Through the signing of the MoU which was attended by the team from Uniska, it is hoped that they can share information and experiences with each other in order to improve what each agency already has.

Meanwhile, the Rector of Uniska, Prof. Ir. Abd. Malik, SPt., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng, during this visit expressed his gratitude for being well received at Udayana University. In his speech, the Rector said that, as a private university, of course Uniska needs to collaborate with PTNs in order to obtain benefits for the development of the university for the better. One of the aims of the collaboration with Udayana University is that both universities have potential that can be exploited by each other, such as in the field of research and development, and it is hoped that this collaboration can strengthen relations between the two parties. 

After the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and PKS, discussions and sharing were held between Uniska and Unud involving the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Representatives from the Faculty of Agriculture, the Faculty of Economics and Business, as well as the Team from the Finance Department and Udayana University Academic and Statistics Team.
