BEM, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University Implements Ormawa PPK with the Jagat Tani Young Farmers' Studio Program

The Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK Ormawa) initiated by the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University (Unud) for the "Sanggar Tani Muda Jagat Tani" program was held on July 4 2024 at the multi-purpose hall of Pelaga Village.

In opening this activity, Ida Ayu Made Intan Pujawati (Agroecotechnology) as Chief Executive gave a report which was followed by remarks from the Head of Pelaga Village and the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Unud. The event was officiated by the Head of the Badung Regency Agriculture and Food Security Service, who provided important direction for the sustainability of this program.

In carrying out this activity, a detailed presentation of the program was carried out by the implementing team. Participants were also involved in farming business data collection sessions and initial monitoring and evaluation (monev) to ensure the success of the program from the initial stage. Apart from that, a receipt of cooperation was handed over to Pelaga Village as a symbol of joint commitment and support for this program. 

The "Sanggar Tani Muda Jagat Tani" program implemented by PPK Ormawa BEM Faculty of Agriculture Udayana University 2024 includes various initiatives, including training in cultivation and waste management, issuance of a Farmer's Card, opening of a Farmer's Clinic, establishment of the Pelaga Village Culture Bank, as well as partnership development and market expansion in the agricultural sector.

All implementation of this activity is supported by business partners, training partners and media partners who are committed to helping the program succeed. The expected result of this program is the formation of a sustainable and dedicated Sanggar Tani Muda institution to advance agriculture in Pelaga Village and its surroundings.

It is hoped that this institution can continue to work and have a positive impact on the surrounding community, strengthen the agricultural sector, and improve the welfare of young farmers.
