We even got to the reporting section that there were animals entering the hotel, animals entering the villa area. "In fact, we take care of things like that, even though the place is the animal's home," said Andina.
She gave the example of the conflict experienced by Macaca fascicularis (long-tailed monkeys) which was triggered by the conversion of land that was supposed to be a place for Macaca to live, but instead a hotel or villa was built.
Senior Technical Advisor Surveillance Risk Analysis, FAO ECTAD Indonesia, Ali Rizqi Arasyi said that the island of Bali is an area that must pay attention to zoonotic threats. Ali said that zoonoses occur due to transmission from animals to humans, or vice versa. "Therefore, animal conflict cannot be underestimated, this is an important aspect to pay attention to and be aware of together. "The One Health concept, which states that there is a close connection between humans, wildlife and the environment in terms of health, is a solution to the threat of zoonoses," he said.
