Udayana University Socializes Regulations and Collaboration for Development of Agrotourism Packages in Belok/Sidan Village
The 2024 MBKM Group for Development of Belok/Sidan Village, Udayana University, held a Socialization regarding Regulations and Collaboration for the Development of Agrotourism Packages, Wednesday 19 June 2024 at Badung Agro Techno Park, Belok/Sidan Village, Petang District, Badung Regency. This village development aims to develop Arabica Coffee educational tour packages at the Badung Agro Techno Park. This socialization event was held in collaboration with the Badung Regency Agriculture and Food Service and the Agribusiness Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University.
The socialization event was attended by the Belok/Sidan Village Headquarters, Mr. I Made Rumawan, Head of the Plantation Division of the Agriculture Service, Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Wayan Suparmi, M.M.A., Head of the Agribusiness Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, Dr. Putu Udayani Wijayanti, S.P., M.Agb., Field Assistant Lecturer Gusti Ayu Arya Prima Dewi SH., MH., MBKM Bina Desa Sibangkaja student, Head of Subak Abian in Petang District and students and local residents.
The socialization event was opened by Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Wayan Suparmi, M.M.A as Head of the Plantation Division of the Badung Regency Agriculture and Food Service, who in this case represents the Head of the Agriculture Service and manager of the Badung Agro Techno Park.
Providing agrotourism packages at Badung Agro Techno Park aims to increase education about Arabica coffee production as a commodity in Belok/Sidan Village. This socialization event presented academics and entrepreneurs as resource persons, including from the Faculty of Agriculture (Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gde Pitana M.Sc.) represented by Dr. I Made Bachelor, SP., M.Sc and Law Faculty (Dr. Made Aditya Pramana Putra, SH., MH.) as well as a Coffee Entrepreneur/Businessman (I Nyoman Sukarsana, S.Pd), guided by the Moderator (Dr. I Ketut Surya Diarta, S.P., M.A).
Through this outreach, it is hoped that a new chapter of innovation and educational opportunities will be opened in the field of coffee plantations in North Badung.
