Udayana University Faculty of Law Student Executive Board Holds Opening of 2024 Legal and Assisted Village Socialization
The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Law, Udayana University (Unud) held the Opening Activity for the 2024 Legal and Assisted Village Socialization which was held on Sunday, June 16 2024 at the Pelaga Village Multipurpose Building, Petang District, Badung Regency. Participants in the opening activities were none other than people who have businesses and arts as the targets of NIB and IPR.
The opening activity was also attended by Kelian Adat, Kelian Dinas, Village Head of Pelaga Village, Pelaga Village Apparatus, Deputy Dean III of the Faculty of Law, Unud, and Head of Petang Anak Agung Ngurah Subdistrict Raka Sukaeling, S.H, M.A.P who also opened the event with a symbolic planting of kayon.
Ni Putu Sintya Dewi as Chair of the 2024 Legal and Assisted Village Socialization Activities in her speech stated that Legal and Assisted Village Socialization is an annual routine activity in the Community Service Sector of the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Law, Udayana University as a form of implementing one of the pillars of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely community service.
The opening of the Legal Socialization and Assisted Villages was the first in a series of activities presented in the form of socialization regarding two main issues in Pelaga Village, namely regarding the system for recording and resolving disputes over intellectual property rights (HKI), as well as the business registration number (NIB) system for micro small businesses. The aim of the opening activity is of course expected to be able to educate and increase public awareness as well as serve as a forum for Law Faculty students to actualize themselves in a real form of service.
This year, the opening of the 2024 Legal Socialization and Assisted Villages was packaged in the form of a talk show by presenting Ir. I Wayan Sukarsa, M.M.A (Badung Regency Regional Research and Innovation Agency) and I Made Delon Mahayana, S.H., M.H (Ministry of Law and Human Rights Bali Regional Office) as resource persons on the topic of IPR. Next, Drs. I Wayan Pagonarianto, M.Si (Badung Regency Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Service) as resource person on the topic of NIB.
