Udayana University Provides Technical Guidance for the Implementation of MBKM Collaborative Classes for Teaching Practitioners Batch 4
Udayana University (Unud) through the MBKM Unit of the Student Affairs Bureau organizes Technical Guidance (Bimtek) for the Implementation of Collaborative Classes for Independent Learning Activities, Independent Campus Teaching Practitioners Batch 4, located in the Prof. Dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah Meeting Room, Faculty of Medicine, Unud, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Tuesday (16/4/2024). This technical guidance was opened by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs at Udayana University and attended by lecturers who carried out collaboration classes.
Vice Rector for Student Affairs Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana, in his speech and direction, said that this teaching practitioner activity is one part of the government program, namely MBKM and is also a flagship activity where funding comes from the Ministry. We hope that this will become part of the learning process and that future teaching practitioners' activities will not only be flagships but there will be independent teaching practitioners.
This year, there are 50 classes in class 4 teaching practitioners, where in the previous year there were 27 classes. It is hoped that next year it can continue to be improved considering that this is a very good program, where students learn about complex problems in the industrial world. Of course, this program can run well in the future due to the collaboration of Unud lecturers who collaborate with practitioners who will teach. This is a challenge because the number of courses is still small if we want to attract more practitioners from outside to teach at our institution.
His party has also coordinated with the Head of the MBKM Unit on how in the future the number of collaboration classes can continue to be increased considering that this is the target in IKU 4. We need to hold onto the spirit of this collaboration class so that students better understand the problems in the industrial world which is currently developing rapidly and this is also is the hope of implementing this program.
Through this program, it is hoped that our students will get to know the industrial environment more quickly after graduating and have better jobs and be able to compete. The Vice Rector also hopes that Bimtek participants will continue to inspire other lecturers to implement collaborative courses based on case base and project base.
This technical guidance presented two speakers, namely the Head of the MBKM Unud Unit, Dr. I Ketut Sardiana and Udayana University Teaching Practitioner Program Coordinator Putu Ratih Kumala Dewi, SH., M.Hub.Int with moderator Ni Nyoman Clara Listya Dewi, S.IP., MA. The material presented concerns the rules and stages followed as well as the technicalities of filling out the logbook.
