Language Center of Udayana University Holds UAEPT Training, Participated by 30 Students from 13 Faculties

Denpasar - Language Center of Udayana University (Unud) held Udayana Academic English Proficiency Test (UAEPT) Training for undergraduate students at Udayana University which was held at the Language Center Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Tuesday (26/3/2024). The training, which lasted for three days until March 28 2024, was opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja. The material presented was Listening with resource person Drs. I Made Winaya, M.Par, Reading with speaker Prof. I Made Rajeg and Structure with speaker Prof. I Nyoman Udayana. The training was attended by 30 undergraduate students from 13 faculties within Udayana University.

Head of Language Center of Unud Prof. I Nyoman Udayana said that this training activity was attended by students from 13 faculties at Udayana University, represented by two students each, but there were two faculties who sent four people so the total number of participants was 30 people. The training was carried out for three days and as an institutional support system, Language Center is very committed to providing language services to students at Udayana University. He hopes that the training can achieve its goals.

Meanwhile the Vice Rector Prof. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja in his speech congratulated the students who had the opportunity to take part in this training. The Vice Rector invited students to take advantage of the facilities at Language Center to increase their potential and ability in English. His party really supports Language Center efforts through UAEPT training, which is in line with Udayana University's steps in internationalization. The Vice Rector asked students who took part in the training to make good use of this opportunity and pass it on to their colleagues.

He also hopes that Language Center can program more students to take part in training which will become the foundation and forum for students to increase their capacity and competence in English which will of course support Udayana University's vision of producing superior, independent and cultured graduates.
