Udayana University Together with PT Bank Central Asia Tbk Holds the 2024 Bakti BCA Scholarship

PT Bank Central Asia Tbk in collaboration with Udayana University (Unud) held the 2024 Bakti BCA Scholarship at the Bangsa Room, Rectorate of the Unud Bukit Jimbaran Campus, Monday (25/03/2024). This activity was attended by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Unud, Head of Operations at BCA Denpasar Branch, the Unud Student Welfare Coordinator and students who received the 2024 Bakti BCA scholarship.

Pranoto, Head of Operations at BCA Denpasar Branch, said that the advantages of human resources are greatest in the world of education. To support this, BCA is taking part in developing existing human resources, one of which is by providing the BCA Bakti Scholarship Program. This program is one of the flagship programs of the Bakti Pendidikan pillar. Routinely, Bakti BCA provides scholarships and training to outstanding students in Indonesia from 2009 until now.

Apart from providing educational funding assistance, Bakti BCA also focuses on training and developing the competencies of the younger generation for future nation building. Through a comprehensive program, students are prepared for transformation and equipped with the competencies and skills needed in the future (developing self, learning abilities, building relationships and delivering solutions), including developing social awareness and financial planning, so that they are expected to become a Future Ready Generation . "We believe that education is the key that can open the generation's gates to a quality future," said Pranoto.

Meanwhile, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana would like to express his deepest gratitude to PT Bank Central Asia for its contribution to providing and helping Udayana University students in the Bakti BCA 2024 program. Udayana University is very lucky because it has become part of four universities in region IV. In this activity, it is hoped that there will be a lot of interaction, although currently there are 40 students who have just received Bakti BCA out of 150 who took part in the selection, hopefully in the future the number is expected to continue to increase.

This scholarship program is very meaningful for Udayana University, the Student Affairs Department always tries to find students subsidies related to this scholarship. Unud tries to collaborate with partners who are willing to contribute to the development of human resources. By carrying out this activity, it is hoped that students who receive Bakti BCA will be able to make the best use of scholarships from BCA, and can provide provisions for their future.
