Udayana University Holds UTBK Accepting New Students for Professional, PPDS, Masters and Doctoral Programs, Even Semester, Participated by 1,145 Participants

Denpasar - Udayana University (Unud) is carrying out a Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) Selection for New Student Admissions for Professional, PPDS, Masters and Doctoral Programs, Even Semester, Academic Year 2023/2024. UTBK, which is divided into three sessions, will be held on January 20 and 21 2024 at the computer lab on the Denpasar Campus.

The number of participants registered to take part in UTBK was 1,145 people, divided into session one, 335 people, and sessions two and three, each with 405 participants. There are two materials tested in UTBK, consisting of the Academic Ability Test (TKA) and the English Language Ability Test (TKBI). The implementation of UTBK which took place at the Sudirman Campus was reviewed directly by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at Unud, Saturday (20/1/2024).

Vice Rector Prof. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja on this occasion said that the even semester selection took place over two days which was divided into three sessions to facilitate all registrants. Where today is one session and tomorrow Sunday there are two sessions. With this selection, which will be complemented by competency selection and interviews in each study program, it will be a filter for participants to be accepted according to the capacity of each study program.

"The future hope is that with this selection, both at the university level and at the study program level, we will get quality prospective students to be trained in each study program to produce superior, independent outcomes in accordance with the vision and mission of Udayana University," said the Vice Rector.

From the results of field monitoring, in general, the implementation of UTBK session one went smoothly. After taking part in this selection, participants will take part in the next selection in their respective study programs which consists of a Basic Competency Test and Interview. The announcement of graduation is planned for February 2 2024.
