384 Udayana University Students Take Part in General KKN Community Empowerment Learning Training Period XXVIII
Udayana University (Unud) through the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) carried out General Provision of Real Work Lectures (KKN) Community Empowerment Learning Period XXVIII Udayana University in 2024, Friday (4/01/2024), located at the Widyasabha Building, Udayana University, Jimbaran Hill, Badung.
Chairman of LPPM Udayana University, Prof. Nyoman Suarsana in his report said that KKN is part of one of the elements of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely Community Service. KKN is a mandatory course that students must take before completing their education at Udayana University. KKN also provides opportunities for students to learn in the field in the form of empowering village communities. This time the KKN student training was attended by 384 (three hundred and eighty four students) who will be placed in 22 (twenty two) villages centered only in Klungkung Regency.
The briefing event was opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at Udayana University, Prof. Rai Maya Temaja, in her speech, expressed her thanks to all parties involved in this event. This general training is very important for KKN participants because it can provide an understanding of how to live and interact with village communities. The Vice Rector advised the general briefing participants to follow the general briefing carefully and pay attention to the material provided, so that it becomes a provision before they will be released to take part in KKN on January 17th and be in their respective placement villages from January 19-February 25 2024.
To all KKN participants, Prof. Rai advised to always maintain the norms that apply while at the KKN location and show yourself as a Udayana University student by giving your best in the KKN placement area.
This general KKN briefing presented 3 (three) resource persons including the Bali Regional Police Chief, who on this occasion was represented by the Director of BINMAS Bali Regional Police, Arsdo Ever P. Simatupang, S.I.K, SH who delivered material about the Synergy of the National Police and students in awakening the spirit of nationalism and community empowerment in realizing an orderly Indonesia, I Wayan Suteja as Head of the PMD Population Control and Family Planning Office of Klungkung Regency who delivered material on Empowering Village Communities for sustainable Development, and from the Task Force for Handling Sexual Violence (PPKS Task Force) at Udayana University, I Gusti Agung Ayu Dike Widhiyastuti, who delivered material on Mitigation of Sexual Violence.
