To Improve Librarian Competence, The Udayana University Library Holds Train the Trainer for Springer Nature Platform and Publication Tools

Udayana University (Unud) Library held a workshop "Train the Trainer for Springer Nature Platform and Publication Tools", Friday and Saturday, 24-25 November 2023 at the Bali Dynasty Resort, Kuta Bali. This activity was attended by the Head of the Library, librarians and library officers from Udayana University, Ganesha Education University and Warmadewa University.

The speakers in this activity were Handoko Bagaskara as Licensing Manager of Springer Nature Indonesia, Wiwi Wiyanti as Business Development Manager, IGroup Indonesia and Dr. Ida Ayu Laksmita Sari as Head of the Udayana University Library.

The Head of the Udayana University Library in his speech said that this socialization aims to reintroduce how to access the features contained in the Springer Nature E-Journal and E-Book which are now subscribed to by Udayana University as well as introducing the Use of Useful Tools on the Springer Nature Website.

This activity also aims to train librarians to be able to socialize e-journals and e-books that have been subscribed, both for promotion to faculties and when there are users who ask questions in the library environment and is an implementation of PKS with the the Ganesha Education University and Warmadewa University Libraries.

Udayana University subscribes to the Springer Nature E-journal with full access, which consists of 3 major subjects, namely Science and Technology, Humanities and Social Science, and Biomedical and Life Science and Medicine. E-books published in 2022 which are perpetual or forever for the following 3 subjects, namely Biomedical and Life Science, Engineering, Law & Criminology and for the 2023 edition, Udayana University increases the purchase of e-books in the fields of Medicine, Economics Finance, Computer, Literature, Cultural and Media , and Law.
