Udayana University Wins 1st Place in the KMI Award in the Digital Business Category at the KMI Expo XIV 2023

Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship (KMI) Expo is a meeting place for student entrepreneurs from all over Indonesia to compete with each other, introduce products and also build networks. KMI Expo XIV in 2023 will be held at the Ganesha Singaraja University of Education. At this year's expo, Udayana University sent a delegation consisting of two main teams and 10 supporting teams to participate. These teams have gone through a strict proposal selection process to qualify for P2MW funding from Belmawa, and then after passing the funding, these teams were again strictly selected to be able to advance to the KMI Expo XIV event to compete for the KMI Award. This year, 371 universities and 493 teams participated in competing for the KMI Award trophy.

Udayana's flagship team sent was Allep Candle, chaired by Putu Ramanda Bryanantha, with members Putu Dera Lastmi, Ni Kadek Allin Pratiwi, Ghaniya Ariska Fidiano, and Ni Luh Putu Nirmala Jayanti who are students at the Faculty of Economics and Business at Udayana University, with accompanying lecturer Ni Nyoman Ayu Diantini, S.E., M.M., Ph.D. This team is included in the Creative Industries, Arts, Culture and Tourism category.

The next team is Aqua Marint, chaired by Nyoman Semarajaya Vikana Putra, with members Putu Eternalie Prajnani Welaga, Putu Mia Setya Utami, Moh Prayogi, and I Nyoman Yodya Mahesa Sastra, with accompanying lecturer Anak Agung Ngurah Hary Susila, S.TI., M .MT. from the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, who competed in the Digital Business category.

The entire team departed from the Udayana University Campus on Jalan Sudirman Denpasar on November 14 2023, and was released directly by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, S.T., Ph.D., headed to Singaraja City where KMI Expo XIV was held.

After struggling for 2 days at the KMI Expo and passing strict judging, the efforts and hard work of the entire team from Udayana University paid off. On the night of the KMI Award, November 17 2023, Aqua Marint was named 1st Place in the Digital Business category. The Aqua Marint team proudly walked up to the stage representing Udayana University and unfurled the Udayana University flag. The trophy was handed over by the jury representative, Coach Jacob Win.

Dr. Ni Putu Sutramiani, S.Kom., MT. as Head of the Entrepreneurship Development Unit at Udayana University, he was grateful and expressed his gratitude for the full support given to the team. He also expressed his gratitude to the Rector of Udayana University, Prof. Ir. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana, MT., PhD, Vice Rector for Student Affairs Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, S.T., Ph.D., Head of Student Affairs Bureau Drs. I Ketut Kartika, Chair of USCC Dr. Drs. I Wayan Santiyasa, M.Si., all BKM Unud staff, accompanying lecturers and mentor lecturers, as well as all parties who cannot be mentioned one by one.
