Udayana University Holds Functional Career Development Socialization

Udayana University (Unud) through the Human Resources (HR) Department held a Functional Position Career Development Socialization within Udayana University, located at Swiss Belresort Watu Jimbar Sanur, Thursday (2/11/23).

The socialization was opened by the Head of the General Bureau, Ni Made Pertami Susilawati SE., MM., and attended online by the Deans, Postgraduate Directors, Bureau Heads, Director of Unud Hospital, and offline by the Deputy Dean II, Deputy Director for General Finance and Postgraduate Collaboration, Director of Human Resources and Academics at Unud Hospital, General and Financial Sub-Coordinators, Head of HR Department at Unud Hospital, Indonesian Arts Institute (ISI), Ganesha University of Education, Bali State Polytechnic, as well as Functional Position Holders for Education Personnel within Unud.

Head of the General Bureau, Ni Made Pertami Susilawati, in her speech said that this socialization presented two resource persons, namely Aba Subagia from the Deputy for Human Resources for Apparatus, Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform at the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform with the material "Regulation of the Minister for State Apparatus Empowerment and Reform Bureaucracy of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2023" and Ika Meidyawati from the Directorate of Information on ASN Positions at the State Civil Service Agency with the material "Regulation of the State Civil Service Agency of the Republic of Indonesia Number 3 of 2023".

This socialization aims to ensure that functional officials within Udayana University gain an understanding of BKN Regulation No. 3 of 2023 concerning Credit Scores, Promotion and Functional Positions which was issued as a follow-up to the stipulation of Regulation of the Minister for Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform Number 1 of 2023 concerning Functional Positions. These two regulations can open up wider and more open career opportunities. The career pattern of functional officials can be diagonal, which means that functional officials are appointed as administrative officials or high leadership positions, and can return to functional positions with easier mechanisms. Apart from that, the governance of functional positions is now based on the scope of duties at each level of position and is adjusted accordingly. with performance expectations.

Through this outreach, the Head of the General Bureau hopes that the resource persons can provide input and understanding of the functional positions held by both lecturers and staff within Udayana University.
