Conducting Field Assessment, Clinical Microbiology Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University Visited by LAM-PTKes Assessor Team
The LAM-PTKes Assessor Team visited the Clinical Microbiology Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (Unud) in the context of a field assessment of the study program's accreditation. The opening of the assessment was attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs representing the Rector of Udayana University, Chair of the Institution, USDI, UPT Library, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and staff, Chair of the Faculty Senate, Director of the Network Hospital, professors, lecturers, students and other guests in the Meeting Room, dr. AA Made Djelantik FK Unud Sudirman Campus Denpasar, Thursday (5/10/2023). The assessor team present was Prof. Dr. Dr. Dedi Rahmadi, Sp.A (K)., M.Kes and dr. Sudirman Katu, Sp.PD-KPTI, FINASIM.
Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Unud Prof. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih in his speech said that over the next three days assessors will see directly the actual portrait to see whether it is in accordance with what was previously reported and his party hopes that if assessors find any differences they can provide input. Accreditation is a legal mandate that must be followed by an institution. With this accreditation, it is hoped that we can guarantee that a process that is in accordance with our main duties and functions actually runs according to the standards that have been set.
The arrival of these assessors is very appropriate for study programs that are still growing so that they develop better. He also believes that the study program has made maximum efforts in carrying out its tasks to be able to produce competent graduates. Through this opportunity, the Dean also hopes that assessors can provide input on the shortcomings of the study program so that they have material to make the study program even better in the future.
Meanwhile, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Unud Prof. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja in his speech expressed his gratitude for the presence of the assessors in this field assessment and asked for direction and guidance from the assessors for the study program so that they can carry out their main duties and functions in accordance with the Tridharma of higher education and can later be followed up by the study program. The Vice Rector further explained briefly about Udayana University which is 61 years old with superior accreditation status and BLU financial management which is currently preparing to become PTN BH. The Vice Rector hopes that the assessors will get the best portrait and that the study program will get results according to shared expectations. This study program is something to be proud of and the university leadership always encourages positive things from this Clinical Microbiology Specialist Study Program.
Assessor Representative Dr. Sudirman Katu, Sp.PD-KPTI, FINASIM expressed his gratitude to the university leadership and faculty staff for the opportunity to share in this field assessment activity, where later many things could be adopted for future improvements. Previously, an adequacy assessment had been carried out, and this time the validator correction was only four items and clarification would be carried out during the interview process. Assessors hope that the study program can achieve results as expected because they have struggled and they will try to take the best possible photos.
