Meanwhile the Vice Rector Prof. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja in his speech said that according to the report from the committee, currently Unud is processing around 158 PEKERTI participants who facilitate young lecturers to understand and improve their competence in the field of learning which is their duty as a lecturer in planning, implementing and evaluating learning. In the training that has been carried out there are around 6 independent assignments that must be assessed and it is deemed necessary to refresh the preparation of these independent assignment assessment instruments.

"We are concentrating here for the purpose of facilitating the young lecturers we are training with PEKERTI to get their driver's license certificates so they can be certified as lecturers later," said the Vice Rector.

On this occasion the Vice Rector also expressed his gratitude for the presence of resource persons to share good practices at Udayana University.

In a separate interview, the Head of LP3M Unud, Prof. I Nengah Sujaya said that PEKERTI is a skills training to become a lecturer. Most of the young lecturers currently available have not graduated from education study programs so they may know their field of knowledge but do not yet know how to teach or how to deliver knowledge to students. Because the current young lecturers are not graduates of higher educational institutions and on the other hand are teaching lecturers, they must know how to convey to students, which is now one of the requirements for lecturer certification. Because you have to be a professional lecturer, you need to be trained in this PEKERTI.
