Rector CUP II of Udayana University Closed by Vice Rector for Student Affairs

Denpasar - After less than a month of the Rector CUP II which was a national championship event held by Udayana University (Unud) by competing in five sports, at Kompyang Sujana Field (Buyung Field) the closing of the Rector CUP II was carried out by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs Unud, Monday (28/8/2023). The Rector CUP II has competed in five sports namely Gateball, Chess, Petanque, Cricket and ended with Rock Climbing.

Chairman of the Committee Dr. Dewa Gede Wiryangga Selangga, S.P., M.Sc. said that the Rector CUP II of Udayana University in 2023 had been well organized from 2 to 28 August 2023. Participants who took part in this event came from 5 Islands, 10 Provinces and 41 Universities with Elementary, Middle and High School categories in several sports. The head of the committee hopes that there will be more participants at the Rector CUP next year.

Meanwhile, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana on this occasion appreciated the entire series that had been passed by all the Sports at the Rector CUP. He expressed his gratitude and gave the highest appreciation to all Pengprov who supported this annual sports tournament organized by Udayana University.

The Vice Rector hopes that in the future he can make the Rector CUP of the Udayana University a prestigious sporting event for national athletes. It is also hoped that athletes will not only develop professionalism but must maintain sportsmanship and mentality in order to make the nation and state proud. "Hopefully the Rector CUP III Udayana University in 2024 will be more lively and lively," he concluded.
