Equating Perceptions, Udayana University Holds TOT Field Assistant Lecturer and Pitching Mentor for WMK Program Batch 2 of 2023
Denpasar - Udayana University (Unud) is holding a Training of Trainer (TOT) for Field Assistant Lecturers (DPL) and Pitching Mentors for the Independent Entrepreneurship Program (WMK) Batch 2 of 2023 at Swiss-Belresort Watu Jimbar Sanur, Friday (18/8/2023) . The activity, which was opened directly by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs at Udayana University, was attended by Field Supervisors from Udayana University, Denpasar Indonesian Art Institute, Panji Sakti University, Dwijendra University, Company Leaders and Mentors for the 2023 WMK Program Batch.
The speakers for this activity included Dr. Ir. I Ketut Sardiana, M.Si who conveyed about the Introduction of the Independent Entrepreneurial Program at Udayana University; Nurhadi Irbath (Career & Business Coach, Member of the Executive Steering Committee for the Merdeka Campus Center) and Rinanti Nur Hapsari, M.Psi (Psychologist) regarding Training for Business Coach, and Komang Oka Saputra, ST., MT who conveyed technical guidance on the use of Learning Management System (LMS) program WMK. This event was moderated by Ni Luh Putu Ari Sulatri, SS., M.Sc from the Unud MBKM Team who invited participants, both DPL and Mentors to discuss the implementation of this WMK.
Executive Committee Dr. Ni Ketut Arismayanti, SST.Par., M.Par said that this activity was a series of the WMK program which aims to equalize perceptions about the implementation of the WMK program for DPL and mentors. The activity was attended by 33 DPLs, namely 20 people from Unud, 6 people from ISI Denpasar, 5 people from Panji Sakti University, and 2 people from Dwijendra University, and involved 24 partners and companies. WMK itself is the Ministry of Education and Culture's Independent Campus Flagship program. This program aims to provide learning and self-development for students to become prospective entrepreneurs through activities outside the lecture class. The launching of WMK took place on August 14, 2023 and will end on December 15, 2023.
"This year's Udayana University is the second year and is one of 34 tertiary institutions throughout Indonesia that was selected as the implementer of WMK. The number of participants this year was 331 students from 8 universities both public and private in Bali, namely Udayana University, Panji Sakti University. ISI Denpasar, Dwijendra University, the Markandeya Bali Institute of Technology and Education, Warmadewa University, Dyana Pura University and the National Education University," he said.
As the manager of WMK at Unud, he also expressed his gratitude for the extraordinary support, cooperation, willingness and commitment of DPL and Mentors for the success of the 2023 WMK Batch 2023 program.
Meanwhile, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana in his remarks said that as it is known that this Independent Entrepreneurship is a part of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka which was proclaimed by the Ministry of Education and Culture since 2020. Entrepreneurship is a part of the MBKM and even this is in line with Presidential Decree Number 2 of 2022 to achieve fulfillment the number of our young entrepreneurs reached one million young entrepreneurs. It is hoped that in this short time towards 2024 there will be one million young entrepreneurs. Besides that, social life trends greatly influence young entrepreneurs to continue to innovate, be creative and adaptive, of course, human resources are needed who must be qualified in that field and one way is through this Independent Entrepreneurship.
"We at Udayana University apart from having independent entrepreneurship carried out by the Ministry which is called flagship, we also carry it out independently. Of course later we will ask for help from DPLs and partners who have collaborated since last year, hopefully this can continue ," he said.
As one of the WMK organizers, the Vice Rector also thanked the partners and DPL and hoped that this collaboration could continue in the future.
