Udayana University Appointed as Host of The Sixth Extensive Reading World Congress (6th ERWC) 2023

Udayana University (Unud) through the UPT Language and Faculty of Humanities (FIB) became one of the host universities for The Sixth Extensive Reading World Congress (6th ERWC) 2023 which took place at the Aston Denpasar Hotel & Convention Center, 7-10 August 2023. This conference was organized by The Indonesian Extensive Reading Association collaborates with three universities in Bali, namely Udayana University, Ganesha Education University, and Mahasaraswati University.

Rector of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng.,IPU, on this occasion expressed his appreciation and gratitude for Udayana University being chosen as one of the host universities for the World Congress of Extensive Reading in Indonesia which was held in Bali. Udayana University must cooperate and collaborate with various parties, including in this activity, this is in line with the vision and mission of Udayana University to become a world-class university. It is hoped that this activity will have a positive impact on the parties involved and provide opportunities to expand networks, especially higher education at the international level.

"On behalf of Udayana University, I as the Rector would like to thank you for involving Udayana University in this event. As the oldest and largest university in Bali, Udayana University is very open to collaborating for any international events or congresses, because it will have a positive impact on future collaboration in certain fields of science," explained the Rector.

This conference was attended by approximately 300 participants both from Indonesia and from various other countries, which focused on the field of extensive reading, and became a space for participants to establish cooperation and increase relations.
