The action plan includes four successive target stages starting with the transformation of Udayana University into a State University with Legal Entity (PTNBH). Internationalization is an important performance indicator for this stage, which is achieved through several approaches such as program accreditation and/or certification, joint research, and more.

Another internationalization program that has been initiated is the establishment of Udayana University's International Advisory Boards (IAB) and programs that focus on research and collaboration, namely Udayana University's Senior Fellows (UNISERF) and International Partnerships Institution-based Research (INSPIRE). Together, these programs will accelerate Udayana University's international recognition.

By obtaining the ASEAN Universities Network Quality Assurance certification, Udayana University will be able to benefit and contribute to the region and other regions through collaborative education, research and joint studies with other AUN-QA Members.

"It is shown that the AUN-QA System is effectively meeting the needs of higher education institutions, with the Expected Learning Outcome (ELO) program as its end goal. According to the AUN-QA system, the entire university system should operate concurrently under a formalized internal quality assurance system. By therefore Udayana University has decided to adopt and implement the AUN-QA methodology. We will make a lot of efforts to activate and implement the AUN-QA system gradually throughout our study programs," said the Rector of Unud.

By joining the Quality Assurance of the ASEAN University Network, he hopes that Udayana University will improve its standards and quality and expand cooperation between universities within ASEAN and its surroundings.
