Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University Holds Acceptance of Himagrotek Ormawa PPK Team in Pejeng Kangin Village

The Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University (Unud) held a reception activity for the Himagrotek Ormawa PPK Team (Agroecotechnology Student Association) Faculty of Agriculture which took place in Pejeng Kangin Village, Gianyar, Friday (28/07/2023).

This activity was attended by the Head of Student Affairs Bureau, Chair of UPKP, Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Agriculture and Assistant Lecturer Ni Wayan Sri Sutari, S.P., M.P. This activity was received directly by the Head of Pejeng Kangin Village Headquarters and the Organic Farmer Group of the Earth Human Organic Garden.

Head of Student Affairs Bureau Unud Drs. I Ketut Kartika in his remarks said that the PPK Ormawa activity had a positive impact on student associations because it fostered a spirit of leadership, working in teams and gaining a lot of experience and knowledge from the community, especially in Pejeng Kangin Village.

The Chairperson of the UPKP and Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University also appealed that for 4 months the implementation of this activity would be able to provide benefits to the Village and students and be able to realize Pejeng Kangin Village as a tourist village in accordance with the title of the activity namely "Optimization and Ecotourism and Organic Cultivation Through Media Community Service to the Farmer Group of the Earth Human Organic Garden in Pejeng Kangin Village". This activity was closed with a visit to the organic garden and preparation for the implementation of the work program.
