The Rector of Udayana University Attends the Inauguration of the Permanent Professor of Komjen Pol. Prof. Dr. Peter R Golose

Rector of Udayana University (Unud), Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng., IPU., attended the Inauguration of the Permanent Professor of Komjen Pol. Prof. Dr. Petrus R Golose at the POLRI Education and Training College, Jakarta (24/07/2023). Prof. Antara was invited to attend as one of the Honorary Rectors in the procession for the inauguration of the Professor, where Prof Golose previously received the Doctor Honoris Causa award at Udayana University in 2019.

Police Commissioner General Prof. Dr. Petrus R Golose was appointed as Permanent Professor of Police Science, especially in the field of Transnational Organized Crime. Prof. Golose has been noted to have taught at a number of universities both at home and abroad, one of which is at Udayana University.

The inauguration procession began with a pora sword procession led by a representative of the STIK Academy Senate Professor General (Purn) Iza Fadri. During the inauguration ceremony, Petrus Golose delivered a scientific oration entitled 'New Psychoactive Substances: New Challenges from the Perspective of Transnational Organized Crime'. Petrus divided it into three points, namely Narcotics Crime in the Perspective of Transnational Organized Crime, Emerging Threats: New Psychoactive Substances, and Mainstreaming the Concept of Depenalization.

The inauguration ceremony was also attended by ATR/BPN Minister Hadi Tjahjanto, Menpora Dito Ariotedjo, MPR Chairman Bambang Soesatyo, KPK Chair Firli Bahuri, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Head of the BSSN Republic of Indonesia, Lt. IN General TNI (HOR) (Purn) AM Hendropriyono, Plt. Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia and a number of other high-ranking officials.

Rector of Unud, Prof. Antara conveying his congratulations directly to Prof. Golose who currently serves as Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of the Republic of Indonesia.
