BRIN Visits Udayana University in the Context of Discussing Talent Development and Digital Products

The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Udayana University (Unud) through the Business Incubator Center received a visit from the Center for Industrial Economics Research, Services and Trade of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) in the context of collaborative research activities on "Modeling the Role of Higher Education in the Digital Economy through Talent Development and Product Downstreaming" on Friday, July 21, 2023 in the Ida Bagus Oka Meeting Room, Campus Unud Sudirman.

This visit is expected to provide an overview of the digital ecosystem in tertiary institutions, in this case Udayana University, which supports the development of digital talent and encourages downstream digital products from tertiary institutions. This research is also expected to provide policy recommendations for digital economy development strategies in Indonesia.

On this occasion, a team from the Research Center for Industry, Services and Trade Economics of the National Research and Innovation Agency were present, namely Indri Juwita Asmara, Luthfina Ariyani, and Yovita Isnasari. This activity was also attended by the Head of the LPPM Business Incubator Center at Udayana University, Dr. drh. Urged Nyoman Dewi Indira Laksmi, M.Biomed, Secretary of the Business Incubator of LPPM Udayana University Anak Agung Istri Sri Wiadnyani, S.TP., M.Sc. and Manager of the Business Incubator of LPPM Udayana University Dr. Anak Agung Sri Mahyuni, SE., M.Agb.

During the visit of the BRIN Team, a sharing session was also held related to the research product, namely the Balinese Script Keyboard with the name "Tamiang" delivered by Cokorda Rai Adi Pramartha, ST., MM., PhD, Lecturer in the Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University.

While the second sharing session was conducted by I Gede Santi Astawa, S.T., M.Cs., a lecturer at the Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, who explained about the digital products resulting from his research, namely Usadha and the Sukma Learning e-learning platform.
