Udayana University IAB (International Advisory Board) Secretariat Holds Online Meeting, Preparation for IAB Annual Meeting 2023

Udayana University (Unud) through the Secretariat of the International Advisory Board (IAB) - LP3M held an IAB online meeting on Wednesday, July 19 2023, held based on the Postgraduate Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar. The online meeting was attended by members of the internal IAB of Udayana University Prof. Dr. dr. Ketut Suastika, SpPD-KEMD. and Prof. Dr. Ketut Budi Susrusa, MS.; and also an external member of the IAB Prof. Adrian Vickers, The University of Sydney; Prof. Harry W. Palm, Rostock University, Germany; Prof. Kadambot Siddique, The University of Western Australia; Prof. Osamu Matsushita, Okayama University, Japan; Prof. Elkhonon Goldberg, New York University School of Medicine.

From LP3M, the Chairman of LP3M, Ir. I Nengah Sujaya, M.Agr.Sc.Ph.D. and Secretary of LP3M Prof. Dr. Ir. I Made Alit Employee of Salain, DEA. The meeting was moderated by members of the IAB secretariat Made Diah Lestari, SPsi., MPsi, Ph.D.; and the discussion was led by the head of the IAB secretariat dr. Ni Nengah Dwi Fatmawati, S.Ked., Sp.MK.(K), Ph.D. with Prof. Adrian Vickers as chairman of the IAB. Members of the IAB secretariat who attended the meeting Prof. Ir. Ida Ayu Astarini, M.Sc., Ph.D., Ainul Ghurri, ST, MT, Ph.D., Dr. Eng. I Made Gatot Karohika, ST. M.T., Dr. Ketut Widya Purnawati, SS, M.Hum. and Astama Adi Brata, S.Kom., MM.

What was discussed was the contribution of external members to support Udayana University to become a World class University including through ASIIN accreditation, helping to develop and promote Unud's international programs such as UNISERF and INSPIRE, and exploring various alternative contributions of IAB members according to their expertise.

The discussion at the meeting then continues in preparation for the annual meeting which will be held at Unud in September 2023 along with the momentum of Udayana University's anniversary. All IAB members provide further input regarding the activities to be carried out at the September 2023 Annual Meeting, which all focus on current data and factual conditions of Udayana University, related to accreditation, infrastructure, collaboration, research, strengths & weaknesses, etc.; to provide a perspective for IAB members in providing input.

On this occasion the secretariat team through Prof. Ir. Ida Ayu Astarini, M.Sc., Ph.D. conveyed about the Main Performance Indicators of Higher Education in Indonesia, which became a reference for all campus activities, so that input and support from IAB members would also be aligned with the IKU.
