Students of the Chemistry Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University Do MBKM Research at BRIN Bandung
Independent Campus Study Students (MBKM) Research is one of the Ministry of Education and Culture's programs, to provide experience to students carrying out research activities in research institutions with complete facilities.
As an implementation of the MoU between Udayana University (Unud) and the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), in the even semester of 2022/2023 the Chemistry Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, sent four students from batch 2020 to carry out the MBKM Research program at BRIN Bandung which lasted approximately five months. starting on 08 February to 14 July 2023.
The program was attended by two students, namely Vic Reynaldi Lie and Elma Tiana Siallagan at the Center for Environmental Research and Clean Technology (PLTB), with the topic of research on Nanoparticle Release Test on Nanocomposite Nylon Membranes from Fisherman Net Waste and two other students namely Ni Made Sri Maharani and Maria Goreti Ling at the Center for Climate and Atmospheric Research (PRIMA), with the topic of Monitoring Heavy Metal Pollution in Surface Sediments in the Muara Batu Lumbang Reservoir, Nusa Dua Bali, using various digestion methods.
The implementation of the MBKM Research program for four students was under the guidance of Dr. Irdhawati, S.Si. who said that the results of MBKM Research would be used as a final assignment, so as to speed up the study period and produce data that could be published in a reputable journal.
