LP3M Udayana University Holds Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) Training

The Institute for Learning Development and Quality Assurance at Udayana University (LP3M Unud) held Training on the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) which took place in the Hall of the Postgraduate Building Lt.3, Campus Unud Sudirman Denpasar, Friday (28/4/2023). This training was opened by the Head of the Learning Development and Quality Assurance Institute, Ir. I Nengah Sujaya.,M.Agr,Sc., Ph.D.

Committee Chairman Ir. Ida Bagus Wayan Gunam, MP., Ph.D in his report conveyed that Internal Quality Assurance System Training at Udayana University aims to increase understanding and implementation of quality assurance in the administration of Higher Education. The Internal Quality Assurance System Training Activities will be followed up with the preparation of the Internal Quality Assurance System and Internal Quality Audit documents.

Meanwhile, Head of the Learning Development and Quality Assurance Institute Ir. I Nengah Sujaya, M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D. in his remarks conveyed, the important role in the Internal Quality Assurance System Training at Udayana University was to encourage the creation of a quality culture and the elaboration of PPEPP's five stages in the SPMI cycle, namely Determination, Implementation, Evaluation, Control and Improvement of Standards. Each stage has an important role in ensuring that the quality management system implemented by tertiary institutions is in accordance with SN-Dikti within Udayana University.

The SPMI training was attended by Study Program Coordinators, Learning Development Unit and Faculty Quality Assurance/Quality Assurance Implementation Team and the LP3M Team. In the Internal Quality Assurance System Training activities, resource persons who were present and provided material 1) Prof. Dr. Laurentius Hartanto Nugroho, M.Agr. with material on Good Practices for Implementation of Internal Quality Assurance Systems at UGM Towards Internationalization of Study Programs, 2) Prof. Dr. drh. Nyoman Sadra Dharmawan, M.S. with material on the Dikti's Internal Quality Assurance System Policy, Dikti's National Standards and Evaluation of Reporting on the Implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System, 3) Ir. I Nengah Sujaya, M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D. with Unud Internal Quality Assurance System Policy material, 4) Prof. Dr. Ir Ni Nyoman Suryani M.Sc. with the Internal Quality Assurance System Manual material, 5). Dr. Ni Nyoman Seri Malini., S.S., M.Hum. with material Standard Internal Quality Assurance System 6). Dr. Ni Luh Gede Astariyani, SH., MH. with material from the Internal Quality Assurance System Form.

The speakers and participants were very enthusiastic about participating in the Internal Quality Assurance System Training activities, because they had the opportunity to better understand the Internal Quality Assurance System and would apply it in the implementation of Education at every level of Education and it would be realized in the External Quality Assurance System.
