Cooperation Initiation, Udayana University Receives a Visit from the Ministry of Defense of Timor Leste
Udayana University (Unud) received a visit from the Timor Leste Ministry of Defense at the Jimbaran Campus Rectorate Building, Tuesday (11/04/2023). This visit was received directly by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information and was also attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, KUI Coordinator, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Engineering, Cooperation and Public Relations Coordinator and staff.
Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information Unud Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika in his remarks said that so far Udayana University had built cooperation with Timor Leste through several universities and also ministries. On this occasion, the Ministry of Defense of Timor Leste was specifically present at Udayana University in the context of discussions related to collaboration with Udayana University.
"Of course it will also be under the direction of the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs how this collaboration can be built properly in a position that is mutually beneficial to both parties," said Prof. Adiatmika.
Meanwhile the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja on this occasion hopes that in the future the collaboration between Udayana University and Timor Leste can be increased. Of course, Udayana University, especially in the academic field, is very open about what cooperation can be done so that it can facilitate the Ministry of Defense of Timor Leste.
On this occasion, Dilia Helena Auxaliadora de Sousa, Director of Human Resources for the Ministry of Defense of Timor Leste, said that the Ministry of Defense of Timor Leste wants to collaborate with Udayana University in the academic and training fields. This is related to human resources in the Ministry of Defense of Timor Leste which in the future will play a very important role.
