Establishing Collaboration, Udayana University Signs MoU with HK Haibin Education Group Limited

Udayana University (Unud) established a collaboration with HK Haibin Education Group Limited which was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by both parties at the Nusa Room, Unud Rectorate Building, Jimbaran Campus, Wednesday (18/1/2023). The signing of this MoU was also coupled with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement with several Unud Faculties and Postgraduates.

The faculties that signed the PKS included the Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Tourism, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Medicine, and Faculty of Agricultural Technology. This collaboration was initiated by the Office of International Affairs (KUI) Unud. Present at the signing ceremony were the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information representing the Chancellor of Udayana University, Faculty and Postgraduate Leaders, KUI Coordinator and the Cooperation and Public Relations Section of Udayana University.

Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika in his remarks conveyed the condition of Unud regarding the planned collaboration with HK Haibin, where out of 13 Faculties and Postgraduate programs all have Postgraduate Programs, both Masters and Doctoral. Of course this will be able to support the collaboration that will be forged in the process of master's and doctoral education which students from China plan to participate in. Maybe not all faculties can accept students in the early stages, but the Chancellor hopes that in the future all study programs will be ready to accept students from China. We hope that HK Haibin can facilitate, communicate and inform about Udayana University programs in both Hong Kong and mainland China. He also hopes that students who attend Unud can take part in education well and graduate on time. Hopefully what is expected can be carried out properly and sustainably.

Meanwhile, Chairman of HK Haibin Education Group Limited Hu Haibin B.Eng.,M.Ec.MBA.,Ph.D gave a glimpse of HK Haibin which is registered in Hong Kong but whose management is in Beijing China. HK Haibin's focus is not only in Indonesia but also in Malaysia. HK Haibin has many collaborations with universities in China as well as in Malaysia and in Indonesia. His party also bridges universities in China with universities in Indonesia. In China, HK Haibin has a team to recruit students which annually sends around a thousand students to Malaysia and Indonesia. Bali is a famous island and also Unud is the best university in Bali, so he believes this will be the first step to recruit students to Unud because it has a good environment, good facilities and location. He hoped that the collaboration would run smoothly and Unud could become the university with the most foreign students in Indonesia. Through this opportunity, the Chairman of HK Haibin also expressed his gratitude to Unud for the collaboration.

After the signing, there was also a presentation regarding the profile of HK Haibin Education Group Limited and prospects for future collaboration. HK Haibin is a company based in Beijing and has as many as 200 staff and also has educational consultants and has had many collaborations with universities in other countries. HK Haibin has branch offices in several countries, one of which is in Indonesia. HK Haibin bridges and also recommends students to go to Indonesia.
