Echoing the Values of Pancasila, the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency and Udayana University Hold a National Musical Surgery
The Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) again held the National Musical Surgery event. In 2022, it is planned that these activities will be carried out in six regions, namely Jakarta, Malang, Bali, Manado, Mataram and Asahan. Bali Island is the final location of a series of activities aimed at socializing and instilling Pancasila values to the younger generation through the medium of music.
This activity in Bali was carried out together with Udayana University (Unud) on Friday, December 16 2022 at the Multipurpose Building of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Unud Denpasar. This activity presented several speakers including Elfrida Herawati Siregar, S.P., MM (Director of Inter-Institutional Relations and Cooperation), Dr. Putu Saroyini Piartrini., SE., MM., Akt (Head of the Center for Pancasila Studies, Udayana University), Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Darma Putra, M.Litt.,P.hd (Professor of Indonesian Literature FIB Udayana University), Agushafi (Artist for Indonesian Home Singing Album), moderated by Hotrun Siregar, S.Sos., M.Sc (BPIP Associate Policy Analyst).
The rationale for this activity is that music is a universal instrument that is very effective as a means of conveying messages, even more than that, music is also believed to be a medium for internalizing values to listeners. This event was filled with various activities including live performances of the national anthem by Irang Arkad, Indra Sabil, Agushafi and Conrad GV as well as a talk show on the theme of National Music.
This activity was opened by the Director of Socialization and Communication, M. Akbar Hadiprabowo representing the Head of BPIP and was held offline with 300 participants from Udayana University students and live streaming on the YouTube channel.
The remarks read by the Rector of Udayana University, which was read by the Head of the Center for Pancasila Studies at Udayana University, Putu Saroyini Piartrini, said: Pancasila Values in Action and Aligned with the meaning of Udayana University's Vision of Excellence, Independence and Culture. Song as a mass communication medium has the ability to transmit or spread messages. The mass media is something that is very important and can have a significant impact because of the wide scope of message dissemination that occurs in the mass communication process. It is also agreed that there is a process of conveying messages from the communicator to the communicant in communication where songs are the medium for conveying messages.
Meanwhile, the Director of Socialization and Communication, M. Akbar Hadiprabowo, while reading the remarks by the Head of BPIP, said that the National Musical Surgery was a collaboration between the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency and Synergy for Indonesia, supported by artists who really love Indonesia who are members of Indonesia Care. "The socialization of Pancasila through the National Music Surgery is one of the latest ways because music can be accepted by all groups," he said.
