Udayana University Establishes Collaboration with Hotel Indonesia Natour
Jimbaran - Udayana University (Unud) collaborated with Hotel Indonesia Natour (HIN) which was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by the Rector of Udayana University with the Main Director of Hotel Indonesia Natour located in the Nusa Room of the Jimbaran Campus Rectorate Building, Thursday (8/12/2022) ). This activity was also attended by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information of Udayana University, Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Tourism, as well as the Cooperation and Public Relations Coordinator. Meanwhile from HIN, the Director of Operations and Business Portfolio, VP Marketing & Partnership Management and Ass. Project Development Manager.
Rector of Unud Prof. I Nyoman Gde Antara expressed his gratitude to Hotel Indonesia Natour where the Managing Director and the delegation were present at Unud in order to formalize the collaboration through the signing of the MoU. Of course, next time we hope to be followed by the signing of a cooperation agreement with all units that might be able to help the collaboration between Unud and HIN. In Sanur there are two things that we need to underline, namely the first is the renovation of the Bali Beach hotel which is currently being carried out where in 2023 there will be a grand launch, of course it requires strong and professional management and highly qualified human resources who can help carry out the operation of the tourism infrastructure.
The Rector hopes that the Faculties can work together through PKS so that we can support the operations of the hotel. Then secondly there is the Health SEZ, namely the construction of an international hospital which is a very strategic development for the nation so we must contribute to its success. Of course in this context we will support whether it is related to human resources who will fill where we have the Faculty of Medicine, and the Dean is expected to work together with management. Through this collaboration, we hope that there will be transfer of technology from those who are qualified outside to the nation's children so that the quality of our human resources is not inferior to the quality of those from outside. This is our role in improving the quality of human resources through mutually beneficial cooperation for both parties.
Meanwhile, the Managing Director of Hotel Indonesia Natour Christine Hutabarat said that her party was very proud to be able to collaborate with Udayana University because it was hoped that the development that would be carried out would certainly want support from all parties. "We believe that Unud can help realize all of our dreams in this SEZ (Special Economic Zone) Sanur and the aim is of course to develop human resources because of course later besides being the first health SEZ in Indonesia it will also become a world class health techno learners complex, " he said.
Of course the specifications needed for this area are very different and he wants assistance from Unud related to human resource development, innovation and also a number of things that will be the focus in that area. We are very proud and happy to be able to collaborate with Unud, of course, with several faculties such as economics and business, tourism, engineering, medicine, law and we hope to increase the value we expect for each, be it HIN, Injourney and Unud.
