Tarumanegara University Collaborates with Udayana University Holds The 11th ICEBM
Faculty of Tourism, Udayana University (Unud) in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Business, Tarumanegara University (Untar) held The Eleventh International Conference on Entrepreneurship and Business Management (ICEBM) which took place in a hybrid manner by taking the main location point at the Tourism Faculty Building, Jimbaran Campus, Thursday (24/11/2022). The 11th ICEBM this year carries the theme "Strengthening the Role of MSMEs to Support Tourism Industries in Post COVID-19 Pandemic" which means strengthening the role of MSMEs to support the tourism industry after the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Apart from Udayana University, this conference is also collaborating with several other universities in Indonesia, namely Mahasaraswati University, Prof. Dr. Moestopo Religion, Trisakti School of Management, Bunda Mulia University, Radin Inten State Islamic University, Lampung Islamic College of Economics and Business, and Malaysian Universities including Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology, Mara Technology University, Geomatics University Malaysia, National University of Malaysia, Asia e University, and Taiwan (Kun Shan University).
Chairman of the Committee Dr. Hetty Karunia Tunjungsari in her report said that the ICEBM activity is held annually by Tarumanegara University. The 11th ICEBM aims to provide opportunities for academics, professionals, decision makers and practitioners from various fields to present their research and views. The Chair of the Committee on this occasion expressed his gratitude to Udayana University for facilitating the 11th ICEBM activity. "We are honored to receive support from the Faculty of Tourism at Udayana University, which has prepared a venue for this conference in Bali," he said.
The Rector of Udayana University who on this occasion was represented by the Vice Rector for Cooperation and Information Planning Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika in his speech gave a glimpse of Udayana University. The hope is that through the implementation of this conference there will be opportunities for cooperation among the universities attending. This year is the third time Udayana University has co-hosted ICEBM activities. "Thank you to Untar for inviting Unud as a co-host, which is the third time Unud has co-hosted this conference," said the Vice Rector.
While the Chairman of the Tarumanegara Foundation Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H said that the implementation of the G20 Presidency which was held in Bali was in line with the theme raised at this conference. Of course Indonesia has an important role in the international world as an intermediary for peace and maintaining economic growth between countries. In addition, the implementation of the G20 Presidency can also boost the economic sector in Indonesia, especially MSMEs.
