Udayana University Socializes MBKM-Bangkit 2023 Program Through Online

Udayana University (Unud) held a Socialization of the Independent Campus Learning Program (MBKM) - BANGKIT 2023 which took place online via the Cisco Webex application, Monday (11/14/2022). The socialization was opened by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs of Udayana University by presenting resource person Adrianus Yoza Aprilio (Learning Support Manager Bangkit) with material related to the Bangkit Program, material from PIC Bangkit Unud Gede Sukadarmika, and testimony from Bangkit 2022 Alumni namely Adisti Anjani Putri, I Putu Arya Patrama Khrisna Putra and Kadek Aditya Premaswara as well as moderator Desak Putu Eka Nilakusmawati.

Rise is a career readiness training designed and led by Google to produce high-caliber talent who is ready for a career in both world-class Indonesian technology companies and startups. There are 4 industry partners namely Gojek, Tokopedia, Traveloka and DEEPTECH.ID as well as 16 university partners. In 2022 there are 47 Unud students who take part in this program and 44 people who successfully graduate.

Vice Rector Prof. In his speech, Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana said that Google Awakens is one of the MBKM program activities that has been going on to date and has been recognized by the Ministry and has received 20 credits. There are also many alumni from the program whose testimonials can of course be used as a reference and can learn from them.

This activity is very good for students because after participating in this activity there are also many other activities carried out after joining Google Rise. When he entered Google Rise, he was just an ordinary child, but after completing this activity, he became an extraordinary child. After graduating, their self-confidence increases. Many things are provided in this program so that they can gain a lot of knowledge there.

He hopes that students can take part in this socialization well and gather information from sources. Those who pass Bangkit will also receive a certificate according to their competency so that it can be a provision when looking for work. His party also hopes that many students will be able to take part in this Awakening activity and also other MBKM programs. The Vice Rector appreciated the resource persons who were present and asked the Study Program Coordinators who were present to also pass on the information conveyed by the resource persons to other students.
