Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Unud Celebrates 38th Anniversary and 29th Badan Kekeluargaan

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University (Unud) held the climax of the 38th Anniversary and the 29th Badan Kekeluargaan (BK) at the Nusantara Room, Agrocomplex Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Friday (28/10/2022). The celebration took the theme "FMIPA Jaya, FMIPA Moves to Support Udayana University Towards PTNBH".

Chairman of the Committee Drs. Yan Ramona, M.App.Sc.,Ph.D on this occasion expressed his gratitude to all parties who have supported the implementation of this activity.

Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc.,Ph.D in her speech expressed the hope that the results of this year's work will increase from the previous year and bring the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences forward in the future. This moment is a moment of evaluation to spur oneself to fulfill performance and implement it well so that FMIPA can be more advanced. He hopes that there will be a step forward so that the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences has an integrated Lab to support the learning process. Through this opportunity, the Dean also conveyed the performance achievements of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and his party is also moving towards international accreditation.

Meanwhile, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana in his speech representing the Rector of Unud said Dirgahayu of the 38th MIPA Anniversary and the 29th BK FMIPA Unud. Furthermore, the Vice Rector said that the MIPA Faculty had a lot of potential to produce research that could be downstreamed. There are also many student achievements in the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty and how do we manage to improve them. The commitment of the university leadership is very supportive of student activities, for that to be used as well as possible with clear goals. Independent achievements that are not in the Puspresnas are also financed if they have a clear direction. Then regarding MBKM, collaboration with stakeholders must be improved because it can have an impact on our KPI. Let's move together to make Unud move forward and move together towards PTNBH.

The celebration was marked by the cutting of the cone by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, followed by a scientific oration session by Cokorda Pramartha, Ph.D on the topic of Downstreaming and Commercialization of Innovation Products through Quadruple-Helix Cooperation.
