Udayana University Together with the Indonesian Ministry of Health Hold Seminars and Socialization of Healthy Campuses
Udayana University (Unud) and the Indonesian Ministry of Health (Kemenkes RI) held a Seminar as well as a Healthy Campus Socialization with the theme "Creating a Healthy Culture from Campus" which took place offline, at the Wiswakarma Hall, Faculty of Engineering, Unud, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Wednesday (31/08 /2022).
This activity presented four speakers, namely, Prof. Dr. dr. I Putu Gede Adiatmika, M.Kes, dr. Ni Wayan Murdani, MAP (Bali Provincial Health Office), Prof. Dr. dr. I Ketut Suastika, SP. PDKEMD, FINASIM., and Dr. dr. I Putu Adiartha Grihadi. This activity was attended by the Deans of the Faculties at Unud, the Director of the Unud RSPTN, the Head of the 60th Anniversary of Unud, the Head of the Healthy Campus Team, the Heads of Bureaus, along with the BEM and DPM of all faculties in the Unud environment.
Head of the Unud Health Campus Team, Ir. Kadek Diana Harmayani, ST, MT, Ph.D said that efforts to improve public health were influenced by several factors, namely, environmental factors, behavioral factors, health service factors, and genetic factors. Higher education as a place of activity for students as well as lecturers and education staff has enormous potential to support the formation of healthy living behaviors and become agents of change in clean and healthy living behavior.
Through this healthy campus program, it is hoped that it can trigger the independence of higher education's active participation and response in dealing with the phenomenon of health impacts for the surrounding community. Udayana University was chosen to be one of the pilot campuses to implement a healthy campus at the university level and has received special socialization and briefing from the Indonesian Ministry of Health.
