Entrepreneurship UKM of Udayana University Holds 2022 National Festival of Young Entrepreneurs

The Entrepreneurship Student Activity Unit (UKM) of Udayana University held the Udayana Young Entrepreneur National Festival online through the Cisco Webex application, Sunday (21/08/2022). This activity was officially opened by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs at Udayana University and attended by judges and participants from various universities throughout Indonesia.

The National Festival of Young Entrepreneurs Udayana (FNWMU) is a competition and seminar event related to business and entrepreneurship that is intended for students from all universities in Indonesia. This year's FNWMU carries the theme "Explore the Potential of Young Entrepreneurs Towards the Business Era 4.0" and has two competition categories, namely the Business Plan Competition (BPC) and the Marketing Plan Competition (MPC).

Chairman of the Executive Committee Kadek Arya Dimas Suputra in his report said that this FNWMU activity was held in a hybrid manner where the committee and jury were offline at the Nusantara Room, Agrokomplek Building, Sudirman Campus, while the participants were online via the Cisco Webex application. The number of the FNWMU committee is 89 people.

Meanwhile, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana in his speech said that in developed countries an average of 14% of the population of these countries are entrepreneurs. "It is hoped that through this activity the business ideas that are contested will not only stop at this competition, but can be applied so that you become a young entrepreneur", said Prof. Ngakan.

Furthermore, the Vice Chancellor expressed his appreciation for the implementation of this FNWMU activity, where the theme that was carried was also very interesting to explore the potentials of young entrepreneurs to do business in the all-digital 4.0 era. "In addition to participating in this FNWMU activity, participants can also take part in the MBKM Wirausaha Merdeka (WMK) activity where registration closes on August 26, 2022, Udayana University is also one of the universities organizing this WMK", added Prof. Why not.
