Supporting the Improvement of the National Accredited Journal of Unud "SINTA", JUPI Unit Holds Open Journal System Training

Located in the Wiswakarma Hall, Faculty of Engineering, Sudirman Denpasar Campus, the Journal and Scientific Publication Unit (JUPI) of Udayana University (Unud) carried out activities to support the Nationally Accredited Unud Journal through “Open Journal System Training” (Tuesday, 12/7/2022). This training presented resource persons Duman Care Khrisne, ST., MT, drh. I Wayan Nico Fajar Gunawan, M.Sc. and I Made Arsa Suyadnya, ST., M.Eng. In this training, the discussion was guided by the moderator, Dr. Ni Ketut Arismayanti, SST.Par, M.Par.

The chairman of the committee, Anak Agung Diah Parami Dewi, ST., MT., PhD, in his report stated that the purpose of holding this activity is to understand Journal & Website Setting, Setting & Using OJS Workflow, DOI and Sijuna”. The training was opened by the Chairman of JUPI, Gusti Ayu Candra Dharmayanti, ST., MT., PhD who in this case represented the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at Udayana University. This training was attended by 114 participants consisting of journal managers at Udayana University, students and journal managers from universities outside Unud in Denpasar.

Through this activity, it is expected to increase the understanding of journal managers to understand and make settings on managed journals and journal websites, understand the stages of editorial workflow on articles, and understand how to register and activate DOI and understand SIJUNA functions.
