Language Center of Udayana University Receives a Visit from LB-IPU Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta

Language Center of Udayana University received a visit from the General Science Language Institute (LB-IPU) Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, located at the Postgraduate Building, Udayana University Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Monday (30/5/2022). The group led by Dr. M Thoyibi, MS as the Chairperson of the General Science Language Institute (LB-IPU) UMS and the team were received by the Chairperson of the Language Center of Udayana University Sang Ayu Isnu Maharani, S.S., M.Hum and his staff.

Dr. M Thoyibi, MS. on this occasion said that the General Science Language Institute (LB-IPU) Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) is an institution in charge of coordinating language learning activities and general courses which include Pancasila, Citizenship and Indonesian which is a combination of two related institutions. with general courses and institutions related to the language that are put into one.

Through this visit, it is hoped that several things will be carried out at Udayana University which will later be considered for developments at LB-IPU in the future development of language services, translation services and language testing services. This visit is an academic gathering and aims to establish cooperation between LB-IPU UMS and Language Center of Udayana University in the future.

Meanwhile, Sang Ayu Isnu Maharani, S.S. M.Hum as the Head of Language Center of Udayana University welcomed the visit of the Surakarta General Science Language Institute (LB-IPU). With this visit, it is hoped that there will be cooperation between the Language Center of Udayana University and the General Science Language Institute of the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS).

In this case, it was also conveyed about the existence of Language Center of Udayana University and the implementation of discussions related to institutions, main tasks and functions of Language Center and others.
