UPT Language Udayana University Holds Academic Writing Workshop 2022

Language Center Udayana University held an "Academic Writing Workshop 2022" which was held online through the Cisco Webex application, Thursday (12/05/2022). This workshop aims to provide a means for lecturers to discuss articles or scientific writings in English that will be published. This workshop was attended by 28 lecturers who were representatives from all faculties at Udayana University.

This workshop featured resource person Shuri Mariasih Gietty Tambunan, M.Hum, M.A., Ph.D, who currently serves as deputy dean at the Faculty of Language and Letters, University of Indonesia.

Head of Language Center Udayana University Sang Ayu Isnu Maharani, S.S., M.Hum. in the opening of this event said that the Academic Writing activity is an annual activity organized by Language Center Udayana University. In 2021 Language Center Udayana University has held a similar activity which invited resource persons from Oxford University, namely Charlotte Hemming, Ph.D. which discusses "How to Develop Good Introduction".

This year, the Language Unit of Udayana University invited Academic Writing experts from the University of Indonesia as resource persons to share knowledge with the participants of this Academic Writing Workshop. "Writing is a must for lecturers where lecturers are obliged to write and publish their scientific works as a condition for promotion," said the Head of Language Center Udayana University.
