In this regard, Udayana University through the Rector has launched a study program that will be expected to meet international accreditation criteria, namely the FIBAA International Accreditation. The head of LP3M hopes that after the Workshop is held, Udayana University can decide which study programs will be included in the FIBAA International Accreditation.
Rector of Udayana University Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng., IPU. in his speech said that International Accreditation is needed for Universities in order to fulfill the Main Performance Indicators (KPI) of Higher Education. In the Key Performance Indicators, universities are required to have at least 4 internationally accredited study programs. AUN-QA certification which is already owned by several study programs at Unud is not included in international accreditation, so that formally Udayana University does not yet have international accreditation status in any of its study programs. The Rector also said that he would prioritize several study programs that were qualified to be included in the FIBAA International Accreditation. It is hoped that in 2022, several study programs at Udayana University can achieve international accreditation so that they can meet the Main Higher Education Performance Indicators.
