Pemelaspasan Ceremony of the Advance Research Laboratory Building, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University
Coinciding with Rahina Tilem Sasih Kaulu and also the Lunar New Year, a Pemelaspasan ceremony was held for the Advance Research Laboratory Building, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Tuesday (01/02/2022). The Pemelaspasan ceremony was attended by the Rector of Udayana University, Vice Rectors, Chair of USDI, Construction PPK, Deans, Vice Deans of the Faculty of Engineering and all staff.
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Unud Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, ST, Ph.D in his speech said that the construction of the Advance Research Laboratory Building has a long history where the planning for the construction of this building began in 2019. On this occasion the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering thanked the Rector of Udayana University and his staff for the facilities. Advance Research Laboratory building which has been given to the Faculty of Engineering. The Dean hopes that this building can be put to good use to support activities at the Faculty of Engineering so that it can achieve the targeted Key Performance indicators. The Advance Research Laboratory building will be used for advanced research as well as to support the new Study Programs, namely Industrial Engineering and Environmental Engineering.
While the Rector of Udayana University Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng.,IPU in his speech said that in order to use this building for academic activities, of course it has a great contribution to the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University. Of course, the use of this building will be regulated by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering so that it can provide the best for the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University.
Furthermore, the Rector said that Udayana University would build a Student Dormitory located on the Bukit Campus which is targeted to be used by new students this year. Apart from dormitories, a Commercial Hotel, Eight Deans Building, Lecture Building, Campus Restaurant will also be built as well as wide access roads, all of which will be centered on the Bukit Campus. The Rector hopes that all of them can work together, unite and coordinate with each other to advance the university and support IKU's achievements. Let's focus on working to advance the institution and discuss each other in providing input for mutual progress.
After the implementation of the building release ceremony, the Rector and the leaders who were present accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering had the opportunity to review the rooms in the Advance Research Laboratory Building.
