Submission of the Rector's Decree regarding the Determination of the Winners of the Student Dormitory Construction Auction and Supporting Facilities

The handover of the Rector's Decree on Determining the Winner of the Student Dormitory Construction Auction and Supporting Facilities to PT Waskita Karya Realty took place at the Widya Sabha Auditorium Building, Jimbaran Campus, Friday (21/1/2022). This event was attended by the Rector and his Vice Rectors, the Chair and Secretary of the Senate, Faculty and Postgraduate Leaders, Heads of Institutions, related Units and Teams involved. Meanwhile, from the partners, the President Director of PT Waskita Karya Realty and his staff were present. On this occasion, the Rector handed over the Decree of Determination to the President Director of PT Waskita Karya Realty.

In his remarks, the Rector conveyed a glimpse of the process that had been carried out until the Rector's Decree was determined for the Winners of the Student Dormitory Construction Auction. In the construction of this dormitory, there will be 22 five floors towers whose groundbreaking will be held in February. The construction of this dormitory is expected to be completed this year with development funds coming from partners. Besides the construction of dormitories, eight Deans will also be built for several faculties. Besides that, a campus restaurant will also be built, two towers for lecture building, so that lectures can take place on the Bukit Campus. The location for the Dean who moved to the hills has also been determined and the Bukit Campus landscape will be arranged. The Rector hopes for cooperation with all parties so that the grand design of future campus development can be carried out, so that the appearance of the Udayana University campus changes for the better.

Meanwhile, President Director of PT Waskita Karya Realty Eri Prananto on the occasion said that in the future there are many things that must be resolved in accordance with the Udayana University campus development plan that has been conveyed by the Rector. Several other universities have also been waiting for a similar collaboration with Unud. It is hoped that Udayana University will become a pioneer and the process can run in an orderly manner, this is a challenge for PT Waskita Karya Realty. The dormitory to be built will have a capacity of 6000 beds divided into 22 towers. President Director of PT Waskita Karya Realty hopes that the construction of this dormitory can be carried out professionally and without any problems, and is expected to provide benefits for both parties.

In this activity, an over view presentation of the construction of the Student Dormitory and its supporting facilities was also carried out as well as the cutting of the cone as a form of gratitude for the implementation of this collaboration.
