Improving the Quality of Public Information Disclosure Management, Unud Holds a Workshop on the Preparation of Publication News

Udayana University held a News Publication Preparation Workshop at Sanur Prime Plaza Hotel Denpasar which lasted for two days, 21-22 December 2021. The workshop which was held by the Unud Spokesperson Team was attended by participants from representatives of each faculty and work unit aimed at improving the quality management of public information disclosure at Udayana University. Besides, the workshop was also attended by media colleagues.

The workshop was opened by the Rector of Udayana University who on this occasion was represented by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information, Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika who in his speech expressed his appreciation to the participants who were so enthusiastic about participating in this workshop. The Vice Rector also expressed his gratitude to the resource persons who were willing to take the time to share their knowledge with the participants regarding journalism. "Through scientific contributions by the resource persons, it is hoped that the workshop participants can gain knowledge and experience both theoretically and practically in compiling news scripts," added the Vice Rector.

While the Spokesperson for Udayana University Putu Ayu Asty Senja Pratiwi, Ph.D said that this workshop was the first activity of the Spokesperson Team for Udayana University. It is hoped that this workshop will provide benefits for the participants in the preparation of news in each work unit.

There were four speakers in this workshop, namely Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Darma Putra, M.Litt, Lecturer of Indonesian Literature, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Unud with the material "Ethics of Writing News Publications", Tjok Istri Priti Mahendradevi, S.Tr.Par. from TVRI Bali with the material "News Preparation Techniques", Dr. Ni Made Ras Amanda Gelgel, S.Sos., M.Si. as the Chairman of Udayana TV with the material "Udayana in the News", and Dr. I Nengah Muliarta, S.Si., M.H. as Chairman of the Indonesian Cyber ​​Media Association (AMSI) Bali with the material "News Publication in Online Media".
