LPPM Udayana University Holds FGD Finalization of the 2022-2026 Service Plan Draft
In the framework of drafting the 2022-2026 Service Plan, the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) of Udayana University held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) at Golden Tulip Jineng Resort Badung, Tuesday (30/11/2021). This FGD was attended by UP2M representatives from each faculty, LPPM representatives from universities in Bali, as well as representatives from government elements.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Unud Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, MP in his speech said that the Service Plan for 2022-2026 is a policy direction and roadmap for the implementation of service at Udayana University for the next five years.
In the future, it is hoped that the quality of service will increase, so that it will also have a good impact on the welfare of the community. The preparation of the LPPM Unud Service Plan for 2022-2026 will serve as a guide for the next five years to carry out service. As a roadmap for the implementation of service, this strategic plan will later be disseminated to all study programs, so that the target is achieved. In the future, it is hoped that the quality of service will increase which leads to an increase in the welfare of the community.
Meanwhile, the Head of LPPM Unud Prof. Dr. drh. I Nyoman Suarsana, M.Si, said that the Service Plan for 2022-2026 adopts national strategic issues, SDGs-based issues, and issues that are developing for Bali's development. Meanwhile, the preparation of the 2022-2026 Service Plan is based on a number of policies, namely Law Number 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education, Ministry Regulations regarding research and community service, Unud Statutes, Unud Standards, Unud RPAJP 2020-2040, and Strategic Plan Unud year 2020-2040.
It was added that this service strategic plan was prepared referring to the various achievements that Udayana University wanted to fulfill. He hopes that through this FGD input from internal and external participants of Udayana University can be obtained, so that they can improve and perfect the draft that has been designed. In addition to obtaining input from internal and external, through this FGD, it is also hoped that the perception of certain issues will be equal, which will lead to agreement and the perfection of the draft that has been prepared.
The FGD was filled with material presentation from the compilers of the Unud LPPM Service Plan, namely Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Mahardika, M.S., Prof. Dr. Dr. Nyoman Sadra Dharmawan, MS., and Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Nuarsa, M.Sc. The activity was continued with a plenary meeting to discuss and listen to input from internal and external participants at Udayana University to improve the draft that had been prepared.
