Udayana University Press Launches 10 Books
Udayana University through Udayana University Press conducted a Launching and Book Review which took place through Cisco Webex with the main location point in the Postgraduate Building Hall, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Friday (22/10/2021).
There were 10 books launched, namely (1) MATATOR (Makassar Tanah Toraja) and its Tourist Attractions by I Made Adhika, (2) International Trade and Investment Law: The Case of Indonesia by I Gusti Ngurah Parikesit Widiatedja, (3) Omega-3 Can Reducing Inflammation Due to Hypercholesterolemia Author Sri Wahjuni, (4) Cultural Transformation of Flats and Compact Cities in Urban Communities in Bali The author Ngakan Putu Sueca, (5) Indonesian Language for the Faculty of Agricultural Technology Author Made Sri Satyawati, (6) Media Language Dynamics 2: Form Indonesian Language and Its Development in the Reformation Era Author I Wayan Pastika, (7) Alternative Dispute Resolution Authors Ida Bagus Wyasa Putra and I Nyoman Sukandia, (8) Democracy and Leadership Ala Subak Writer Wayan Windia et al, (9) Philosophy of Science: Philosophy of Legal Studies 2nd Edition by Ida Bagus Wyasa Putra, and (10) Customary Law and Traditional Villages in Bali by Wayan P. Windia.
Head of Udayana University Press, Dr. Ida Bagus Jelantik expressed his appreciation to the author and all parties who contributed to the launch of this book. He hoped that the university leadership would support the development of Udayana University Press as a window of knowledge for Udayana University.
The Director of BPU in his speech delivered by Wadir I Wayan Mulyawan congratulated on the launch of this book. Given the existence of Unud as a BLU, Udayana University Press is expected to be an income generator that must be able to provide non-tax revenues for the university. By looking at the potential and existing market share, it is hoped that Udayana University Press will be able to develop professionally and compete with other publishers as a business unit at Udayana University.
While the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, in her speech as well as launching the book, said that publishing a book is a form of implementing research results in a book. In terms of quality, the prints of Udayana University Press are unquestionable. The number of books published is of course still far from the total number of existing lecturers, but this is expected to continue to increase. The Vice Rector also gave his appreciation to the author and Udayana University Press for the launch of this book.
In the Book Review event, three speakers, namely Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Wyasa Putra, SH., M. Hum, Prof. Dr. I Wayan P. Windia, SH., M.Si and Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Windia, SU with the moderator being the Head of Udayana University Press.
