LPPM Unud Holds Workshop on Finalization of Research Master Plan for 2022-2026
The Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) Unud held the Finalization of the Udayana University Research Master Plan (RIP) Workshop for 2022-2026 at Padma Resort Ubud, Tuesday (12/10/2021). This workshop focuses on exploring the inputs given by internal and external Udayana University, so that the Research Master designed will be used as a basis and guide for researchers in the Unud environment in conducting research.
The finalization was also focused on the road map set on each of the leading topics, namely Social and Humanities, Health and Medicine, Food, Energy, and Environment, and Infrastructure, Transportation, Materials, and Information Engineering.
As stated by Prof. Dr. dr. I Nyoman Suarsana, M.Si as the Head of LPPM, there are several updates from the previous RIP. "There have been a number of topic reductions because the previous ones are no longer relevant, then new topics that adopt current, technology, and national-level research emerge," he explained. It was further explained that the drafting team also had to accommodate the thirteen faculties at Unud so that researchers could submit research in the RIP.
The drafting team involved are members of UP2M (Research and Community Service Unit) at the faculty level who have credibility. In order to get fresher inputs, LPPM Unud also invited the Bapeda of Bali Province, BaRi of Bali Province, Balitbang City and Regency, as well as colleagues from external Unud as participants in this activity.
Also present were the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, M.P who provided support for the continued finalization of the RIP. "Here, the leadership as the Rector is very supportive in providing direction from the research so that it is in accordance with the road map set in each field of study program," he explained.
