Rector of Unud Receives Audience of the Head of the Provincial Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Bali Province

Rector of Udayana University Prof. I Nyoman Gde Antara accompanied by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information received an audience from the Head of the Bali Provincial Statistics Agency (BPS) and his staff at the Jimbaran Campus Rectorate Building, Tuesday (05/10/2021).

Head of BPS Bali Province Hanif Yahya said that the Central Statistics Agency has the task of the central BPS to build or create a statistical corner in every university. The program is the result of an MoU between BPS, the Indonesian Statistics Association, and the Statistics Higher Education Forum. The Central Statistics Agency collaborates with universities or universities to be able to bring statistics closer and market to the entire academic community in universities.

Rector of Unud Prof. I Nyoman Gde Antara said that almost all research carried out involves statistics, so these statistics are very important. The Rector was very enthusiastic and supportive of the Statistical Corner program by the Central Statistics Agency. Furthermore, the Rector said that Udayana University also plans to open a Statistics Study Program, and if it is realized, it is hoped that the Central Statistics Agency can play a role in this Statistics Study Program.
